Managing Director
Simon Jones
Simon has been in the cooling towers industry since 1999 and has been involved in many large cooling tower construction projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.
As Managing Director, Simon, draws on his tacit knowledge, utilising his multi trade background, project and business management experience, to lead and drive strategic expansion and partnerships of Marley Flow Control.

Director
Gareth Jones
Gareth has a diploma in Marine Engineering from Southampton College of Technology in the United Kingdom.
Gareth gained a vast amount of engineering experience during his ten years with P&O Steam Navigation Company of London in the running and maintenance of marine propulsion systems.
He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering (Sydney Branch). Since arriving in Australia he has had extensive experience in the design and maintenance of fluid control systems, with special relevance in the fuel & gas industries

General Manager
Edward Turvil
Ed is a BSc Hons and Royal Military Academy Sandhurst graduate. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in HR Leadership, and PRINCE2 Practitioner. After a leadership career in the British infantry, and various roles in consulting, Ed ran his own business before joining MFC in 2023.
Ed aims to leverage his 20+ years of leadership and management experience to drive the CI agenda and help lead us to an even brighter future. His approach aligns with our core values and beliefs, namely the importance of people, family and community.

Nancy Jones
With over 20 years of experience, Nancy brings strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset to ensure a well-coordinated and efficient office environment. Her collaborative leadership style fosters a positive, high-performing culture where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.

Engineering Manager
Kayden Hillier
Kayden joined Marley Flow as an intern engineer in 2016 and continued to work with Marley Flow whilst completing his university studies. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) at Western Sydney University and received the Deans Merit in 2017. Kayden has since worked in both the Facilities Maintenance and Cooling Tower arms of the business, with engineering and project management amongst his key roles within the business. He is a member of Engineers Australia and has also completed his Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
In 2024 Kayden became the Engineering Manager for Marley Flow Control.

National Sales Manager
Marcus Fridenberg
Marcus studied Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne University before beginning his career in the industrial ventilation industry, where he worked in research and development. He later broadened his experience with roles in marketing and IT, before discovering his passion for sales in 2009. Since then, he has built strong relationships with clients across the industrial and HVAC sectors.
In 2021, Marcus joined Marley Flow Control, where he now manages the Victorian office. He also plays a key role in supporting the sales team, driving growth and delivering tailored solutions to clients in both the industrial and HVAC markets.

National HSEQ Manager
Stephen Holt
Stephen brings nearly four decades of experience in heavy engineering, with deep expertise in maintenance execution, operations, compliance, and workplace health and safety (WHS). He began his career at Cockatoo Island Dockyards, where he completed his apprenticeship and qualified as a fitter and turner. His technical foundation is supported by a Diploma in WHS, an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and a Postgraduate Degree in Maintenance Management.
Stephen spent 24 years with Shell Refining (Australia), holding senior roles in maintenance and inspection. He later transitioned into consultancy, advising clients across various industries on maintenance strategies, compliance, and quality systems.
Since joining Marley Flow Control seven years ago, Stephen has played a key role in delivering practical, results-driven engineering solutions. His approach to WHS is grounded in real-world experience, combining technical knowledge with a pragmatic, hands-on perspective.
He is a Technologist Member of Engineers Australia and a Member of the Australasian Corrosion Association.

Financial Controller
Nicole Howard
Nicole has worked at Marley Flow Control for over 11 years in the Financial Controllers role.
Previous to that 6.5 years with an international manufacturing organisation. Nicole has experience in processing payroll, invoice processing and accounts payable and accounts receivable, accounts reconciliations and tax obligatons.
Nicole successfully acquired a Cert 4 1V in accounts processing and Bookkeeping and has completed MYOB training in business reporting and analysis.

Operations Manager
Mat Crabtree
Mathew brings years of experience in the engineering industry, having joined Marley Flow Control in 2009 after earning his Mechanical Engineering Certificate in 2006. He has since expanded his expertise through post-graduate studies in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Fuel Services, completed both in Australia and internationally.
With a strong foundation in mechanical systems and a hands-on approach to project delivery, Mathew now serves as Operations Manager, overseeing all projects run from our head office in Emu Plains. His leadership ensures that every project is executed with precision, efficiency, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Project Manager
Greg Stevenson
Greg has worked in the cooling tower and facilities maintenance industry for 20 years with his trade Engineering – Fabrication obtained in 2000. He has worked for Marley Flow Control since 2011. Greg is a qualified boilermaker with specialised welding certificates and has extensive experience in the installation of pipework, tank repairs and general fabrication.

Maintenance Services Supervisor
Dave Malcolm
With a strong background in engineering and a hands-on approach to leadership, Dave brings extensive experience in account management, staff supervision, and project delivery across a range of industrial and facilities management projects. Specialising in cooling towers, fuel delivery systems maintenance, air system delivery and complex infrastructure systems, Dave has successfully led multidisciplinary teams and managed client relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Known for a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to operational excellence, Dave plays a key role in aligning technical execution with client goals, ensuring seamless coordination from planning through to completion

Project Manager
Andrew Dickson
A highly experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in both IT systems and construction. With a background spanning small-scale initiatives to large, complex builds, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and practical site management. From infrastructure upgrades and software implementations to commercial developments and multi-stage construction projects, I’m skilled at leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets and timelines, and delivering results that meet both strategic goals and operational needs.

Senior Sales Engineer - Cooling Towers and Pumps
Anindya (Ani) Bhowmik
Ani is a Mechanical Engineer who has been working in the HVAC industry for over 9 years. He applies his knowledge of the ventilation industry by working as a sales engineer, providing solution sales to customers. He’s involved in the design stages of cooling towers for the industrial sector; the likes of power plants, refineries, fertilizer plants to name a few. A part of his role is also to help the sales team with quotations of cooling towers for new and redevelopment projects and to help the client with their cooling requirements.

Sales Engineer
Ehsan Pourfarzad
Ehsan joined Marley Flow Control with a background in technical sales engineering, particularly within the industrial and HVAC markets. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Project Management and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is a professionally assessed Mechanical Engineer by Engineers Australia.
Ehsan is passionate about driving innovation and efficiency, working closely with consultants, contractors, and end users to deliver technically sound and compliant cooling tower solutions from concept through to commissioning.

Supply Chain Manager
Daniel Jones
With 20+ in logistics management working for a large multinational company, Daniel has experience in all avenues of logistics and freight. Before starting with Marley in January 2018 he lead a team importing chemicals for the Cosmetic, Food and Pharmaceuticals industries and specialising in Dangerous Goods importation. In 2011 he obtained Cert IV in Front Line Management. Daniel has been a member of the Rural Fire Service for 30+ years which brings experience in strenuous situations.

Kalolo Matavesi
Kalolo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cooling tower manufacturing, maintenance, and refurbishment—both in the factory and onsite. For the past two years, he has thrived as a Design and Construct Supervisor, showcasing strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a consistent track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Kalolo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cooling tower manufacturing, maintenance, and refurbishment—both in the factory and onsite. For the past two years, he has thrived as a Design and Construct Supervisor, showcasing strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a consistent track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Account Manager/ Project Supervisor
Russell Nunn
Russell began his career as a light vehicle mechanic, specialising in motorsport and automatic transmission repair.
After spending years in the light vehicle trade, he transferred into the heavy industry with experience in mobile hydraulic equipment.
Eventually promoted into management, Russ has years of workshop planning and customer relationship building.
Now as a key account manager, Russ focuses his time on developing new connections throughout the east coast of Australia and maintaining relationships with major Industrial accounts such as Bluescope Steel, BOC Gas and Manildra Group. Russ also services many large HVAC and water treatment companies such as AG Coombs, Climatech, Integra Water and NCH.

Sales Engineer / Adviser
Peter Glass
Peter has held a variety of sales engineering roles for over 35 years, the past 15 years directly related to the cooling tower industry.
He brings broad experience in industrial process equipment applications, including power transmission, pump systems, fluid agitators, heat exchangers, filters, valves and cooling towers.
Hands-on experience has been gained in the areas of site installation/supervision, system commissioning and trouble-shooting.

Engineering Support
Lawrence Thomas
Lawrence joined Marley Flow Control in 2011 from SPX Cooling Technologies, where he had worked in the design, inspection, testing and technical sales of industrial cooling towers for 13 years, in Europe and Southeast Asia.
Lawrence is a Chartered Engineer (retired) with both the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (UK) and Engineers Australia. Lawrence is responsible for all aspects of our engineering design and compliance and also assists with the implementation of large cooling tower projects from the planning to installation process.
